Statement of Purpose

That we may become an effective force for God’s Kingdom to affect the whole of our community by the raising up of men and women in like manner as our Lord Jesus Christ commanded and the Apostles obeyed.

 

Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (NIV)

 

II Timothy 2:2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. (NIV)

 

This is the only way to propagate the message of hope to the world. Through men and women who are willing to boldly live and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as the only hope and plan of salvation for mankind.

What We Believe

1. Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, fully trustworthy, only supreme authority in all matters of faith / conduct. II Tim 3:6-17              

2. One God, eternally existent, manifest in three persons: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. I John 5:7        

3. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His divine miracles, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatory work, and His personal return in power and glory. John 1:1&14, Isaiah 7:14, Hebrews 4:15, John 10:38, John 2:19-22, Acts 1:9, I Timothy 2:5, Mark 13:26                     

4. The salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith and the regeneration of the Holy Spirit, apart from work. Ephesians 2:8-9                  

5. The Holy Spirit and Baptism, by who’s indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life and obtain power to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ, and the initial evidence of speaking in Other Tongues. Acts 1:8; 2:4              

6. Unity in the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:13                     

7. The resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. John 5:29
